Gridiron Capital Announces Fourth Partnership in GarageCo, Cedar Park Overhead Doors
GarageCo Expands its Family of Family BrandsTM to the Southwest with Cedar Park Overhead Doors
NEW CANAAN, CT, May 16, 2024 – Gridiron Capital, LLC (“Gridiron Capital” or “Gridiron”), an investment firm focused on partnering with founders, entrepreneurs, and management teams, successfully closed its fourth partnership under the GarageCo Holdings, LLC (“GarageCo” or “the Company”) platform, with Cedar Park Overhead Doors (“Cedar Park”). Cedar Park, based in Austin, Texas, is a family-owned and -operated provider of repair and replacement services for residential and commercial garage doors. GarageCo is the fifth platform company of Gridiron’s recently closed $2.1 Billion Fund V and was formed through Gridiron’s Thematic Areas of Expertise approach within the highly fragmented garage door repair and replacement sector.
Cedar Park joins the GarageCo platform as the fourth partnership alongside P.D.Q. Door Company based in Maine, Apple Door Systems based in Virginia, and Cunningham Door & Window based in Kentucky. GarageCo is led by CEO, Mars Shah, who joined Gridiron Capital as an Operating Partner & Executive in Residence in the Spring of 2023. Shah, who most recently served as President of Driven Glass North America, brings significant strategic, operational, and M&A leadership experience to the platform.
