NEW CANAAN, CT, December 15, 2025 – Gridiron Capital, LLC (“Gridiron Capital” or “Gridiron”), an investment firm focused on partnering with founders, entrepreneurs, and management teams, is pleased to announce the addition of Steve Lamb as Managing Director. Steve joins Gridiron’s investment team, bringing his expertise in leading middle-market private equity investments and developing high-performing teams, to advance our strategic growth and talent development efforts.
Mr. Lamb joins Gridiron from Avance Investment Management, where he served as Managing Director focused on leading middle-market private equity investments in business and technology services, as well as managing the firm’s thematic sourcing strategy. Steve also contributed to human capital strategy and firm management. Additionally, he was a Managing Director at MSD Partners, overseeing North American investments and serving on the board of West Monroe Partners. Earlier in his career as a Principal at Court Square Capital Partners, he specialized in executing investments, developing sector-specific themes, and enhancing growth through his roles on various boards, and his involvement in firmwide recruiting efforts. Steve received his M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Business Administration & Accounting, graduating Phi Beta Kappa, from Washington & Lee University.
