Gridiron Grows Associate Team with Alumni and New Talent
NEW CANAAN, CT, October 11, 2022 – Gridiron Capital, LLC (“Gridiron Capital”), an investment firm focused on partnering with founders, entrepreneurs, and management teams, is pleased to welcome Ryan Gardner back to the firm as a Senior Associate. In addition, Gridiron adds to its team Eric Albright and Virginia “Jinx” Charman.
Mr. Gardner was previously an Associate at Gridiron and rejoined the firm after earning his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School. Prior to joining Gridiron in 2016 as an associate, Ryan worked as an analyst at Deutsche Bank. Ryan focuses on new investment opportunities, due diligence, and value creation at current portfolio companies, including M&D Distributors, Colibri Group, and The Service Companies.
Mr. Albright joins Gridiron from Barclays, where he served as an associate in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group. Eric holds a Master of Public Accounting and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he played varsity football. At Gridiron, Eric focuses on new investment opportunities, due diligence, and value creation at current portfolio companies.
Ms. Charman joins Gridiron from Cowen & Company, where she served as an analyst in the Strategic Capital and Financial Sponsors Group. Jinx received a B.A. in Psychology from Middlebury College, where she played varsity soccer. She also completed the Tuck Business Bridge Program at Dartmouth College. At Gridiron, Jinx focuses on business development, marketing, and providing research & analytical support to current portfolio companies.
