Gridiron Capital Promotes Andrew Kahn and Nick Weido to Principal

Gridiron Continues to Develop Its Team, Building on Its Winning Together Culture

NEW CANAAN, CT, January 10, 2024 – Gridiron Capital, LLC (“Gridiron Capital” or “Gridiron”), an investment firm focused on partnering with founders, entrepreneurs, and management teams, is pleased to announce that Andrew Kahn and Nick Weido have been promoted to Principal.

Mr. Kahn joined Gridiron Capital in 2015 as an Associate. In 2018, Andrew was promoted to Senior Associate, and then to Vice President in 2021. He focuses on new investment opportunities, due diligence, and value creation at current portfolio companies, including Class Valuation, GSM Outdoors, and Jacent Strategic Merchandising. Before joining the Gridiron team, Andrew worked as an Analyst in the Global Consumer Group at Citi. Andrew received a B.A. in Economics from DePauw University, where he played varsity tennis. He also holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.

Mr. Weido joined Gridiron Capital in 2019 as a Senior Associate. In 2021, Nick was promoted to Vice President. He focuses on new investment opportunities, due diligence, and value creation at current portfolio companies, including Foundation Wellness, The Lattice Companies, and Vistage Worldwide. Prior to joining the Gridiron team, Nick served as an Associate at Genstar Capital and worked as an Analyst at Morgan Stanley and Raymond James. Nick received a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Notre Dame. He also holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
