Shah’s Diverse Operational Expertise Will Bring Valuable Talent and Resources to Gridiron’s Portfolio Partnerships
NEW CANAAN, CT, May 9, 2023 – Gridiron Capital, LLC (“Gridiron Capital”), an investment firm focused on partnering with founders, entrepreneurs, and management teams, is pleased to announce that Mars Shah has joined the team as Gridiron’s newest Operating Partner and CEO in Residence. Shah is a C-Suite leader with deep experience in digitally transforming B2B and B2C companies as a CEO, President, and CFO of multiple VC and PE-backed businesses. His experience as a seasoned executive will further strengthen Gridiron’s Centers of Excellence and add value to the firm’s Thematic Areas of Expertise, including Auto Aftermarket and Residential Products and Services.
Before becoming an Operating Partner, Shah served as President of Driven Glass North America. His operating experience includes extensive management of 3,500+ professionals, M&A, global P&L management, and institutional fundraising. He has sector expertise that spans Retail/multi-unit, Automotive, B2B marketplaces, Consumer, FinTech, and Enterprise SaaS.
